Apartments and Condos are really quite different cases. In Condos owner pays but needs permission to install. Apartments need incentives or mandates to put in EVSE for renters. How to motivate apartment owners?

Paul, would you typically do a power load study, recording hourly use to determine what capacity is available in the building electric service?

I’m late to this discussion. I am from Canal Crossing at Whitneyville West in Hamden. We will be installing a dual level 2 EV charger for community use next month and are upgrading electrical in our garages to 220 volts so they can charge at the outlet in their garage.

Our in garage meters we pay for on the ouse meter, but the renter pays a monthly fee. For the community EV chargers, they will pay right at the charger

Why not do educational seminars for the Architect’s association (AIA).

Is there a suggested ratio or percentage of EV charging stations per number of parking spaces at a public facility?
